1.2 DraftMerge Chrome Extension

DraftMerge operates entirely client-side within your Chrome browser. We do NOT:

• Collect or store your email contacts or recipient lists
• Read or transmit your email message content
• Track your email sending activity
• Store your Gmail credentials or OAuth tokens on our servers
• Use cookies or analytics to track your behavior
• Sell or share any data with third parties

2. Google API Services User Data Policy

DraftMerge complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Limited Use Disclosure

DraftMerge's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

OAuth Scopes We Request

DraftMerge requests the minimum OAuth scopes necessary to function:

• gmail.send - To send mail merge emails from your Gmail account
• spreadsheets.readonly - To read contact data from Google Sheets (optional)
• drive.file - To create and manage DraftMerge-specific spreadsheet files
• userinfo.email - To identify your account for subscription management

These scopes are used exclusively for the features described in this policy. We do not use Google API data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the functionality you explicitly request.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 DraftMerge Extension

The following data is stored locally in your Chrome browser using chrome.storage and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Contact lists and recipient email addresses
• Email templates and merge field tokens
• Campaign history and send status
• Suppression list (unsubscribed contacts)
• Extension settings and preferences
• OAuth tokens for Gmail and Google Sheets access

3.2 Service Engagement Data

For consulting and service projects, we implement industry-standard security measures:

• All communications use encrypted channels (HTTPS, SSH)
• Credentials are stored securely and deleted after project completion
• Access is limited to authorized team members only
• Regular security reviews of our processes

4. Subscription and Payment Data

If you purchase a DraftMerge subscription, payment processing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects:

• Your email address (for subscription management)
• Payment information (processed securely by Paddle)
• Billing address and tax information

We store only your email address and subscription tier in our Cloudflare Worker database to verify your entitlement. This data is used solely to determine your daily email sending limit.

5. Optional Features

AI Features (Optional)

If you enable AI features in DraftMerge, content suggestions are generated using Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano (on-device) or your own API keys for cloud providers. We do not receive or store AI-generated content.

Tracking Script (Optional)

If you install the optional tracking script, open/click events are recorded in a Google Apps Script web app that you own and control. This data stays in your Google account and is never transmitted to SoftCofee servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
